LASARRUS Welcomes Three New Team Members
LASARRUS Clinic and Research Center is excited to welcome three talented professionals whose design, clinical, and software expertise will strengthen our work to make respiratory monitoring more intuitive, reliable, and accessible.
Jillian Casey –
UX/UI Design Intern
Jillian is a senior Graphic Design student at UMBC and a Linehan Artist Scholar with experience in graphic design, marketing, social media, and content creation. At LASARRUS, she is helping translate complex study and product needs into clear, patient-friendly visual experiences—from human-factors campaign concepts to study materials and digital communications.
2. Tiffanee Donahue, RRT – PFT & Clinical Research Specialist
Tiffanee brings hands-on respiratory-care expertise and a strong operational perspective to LASARRUS. She is helping shape the RT Clinic and pulmonary-function testing program by developing clinical workflows, policies, assessment tools, and site-readiness materials, while also supporting human-factors research and patient-centered respiratory education.
3. Sebastian Bolatto – Software Developer Intern, Unity & Mobile Applications
Sebastian is a game designer and developer with an M.S. in Game Design & Development from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA. His background in Unity, interactive experiences, and collaborative development will support LASARRUS as we build and refine the mobile and software experiences behind WearME.
Together, Jillian, Tiffanee, and Sebastian add complementary strengths across user experience, clinical operations, and software development. We are delighted to have them on the team as LASARRUS advances WearME and continues building patient-centered tools for respiratory research and care.
