At Lasarrus, we are excited to announce that we have been awarded our second utility patent. This patent is on a wearable body area sensor network (BASN) technology that is core to our WearME design IP. Our BASN technology utilizes multiple wireless multi-modal devices (each with Acoustic, ECG, range-of-motion, and Temperature sensing) to provide a full-body physiological monitoring system. Applications of this technology includes respiratory monitoring, physical therapy, remote patient monitoring, and more.
This milestone achievement is also a credit to the work done by the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic (IPEC) at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, who provided legal assistance on Lasarrus patent.
